In an effort to reduce traffic and our carbon footprint, Newport Folk Festival and FestDrive are proud to offer bus service to and from the festival.

We know that driving can be stressful and troublesome so leave that up to us; sit back, and relax on a shuttle to Newport Folk Festival!

Buses will run all three days (excluding NYC). FRI 7/27, SAT 7/28, SUN 7/29. 25 person minimum will need to be hit in order for lines to be live.


Patrons will be responsible for getting themselves to and from pick up locations. There are paid and limited free lots in close proximity to pick up locations. Buses will have a designated shuttle drop-off/pick-up location within the venue lots and close proximity to the main entrance!

    • Buses will run FRI, SAT, SUN with departure of 10am

  • SOLD OUT – Middletown Local Hotel Shuttle – $29 Daily Round Trip – $75 3 Day
    • Shuttle runs daily beginning at 9:30AM and runs continuously until 3PM. You will pick your designated departure time at check out. Return trips start at 6:30pm until 60 minutes post final act.

RETURN: Providence/Warwick, Boston, and New York City Buses start staging at 8pm, will send when full or post final act 60 minutes. You will be dropped off at the same location you were picked up at.


Once you purchase your shuttle pass, you will receive an order confirmation email from Fanzone on behalf of FestDrive. Your bus pass e-ticket will be attached to your order confirmation email. This will be a check in system however, so all you need is ID for check-in. IMPORTANT: If you do not see your order confirmation in your inbox, make sure to check your junk/spam folder.


To board the shuttle bus, there will be a check-in system, so all you need is your valid photo ID for check-in. If someone else purchased your shuttle ticket for you, please have purchaser email your name for check in.

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. Buses operate rain or shine.

Send us an email at to let us know the purchaser, and the new riders name. We will transfer the ticket for you.

Tickets are available for purchase until sold out, or simply no longer available. Due to a spike in sales, occasionally our inventory will drop dramatically. Moreover, if you are going to purchase a package we recommend that you do so in a timely manner to ensure availability.
